2018 Summer Camps

For 2018, St. Louis Youth Performance will suspend our regular evening classes as we go to a daytime format.

Hayes Taylor, QB

Classes will be held every other Monday - Thursday over 4 weeks in June and July. These classes will be camp style with time dedicated to athletic instruction and ability development.

Each day, we will have a morning Speed and Agility session from 10:30-12:00, and an afternoon Strength and Skill session from 1:00-2:30.

2018 Sessions are:

  • June 4-7

  • June 18-21

  • July 16-19

  • July 30-Aug 2

Athletes can attend either session or both each day. For those staying all day, we will not be providing lunch, but will have our commercial refrigerator available for keeping things they bring cool until lunch.

Our Coaches and Camps

Maria Fitzmire, Field Hockey

Mornings sessions will be conducted by Travis Brown. Travis is an Orange Theory coach, boxing coach and former collegiate football player. Travis will work with athletes on development of speed and quickness.

Afternoon sessions will be conducted by Wes Steele. Wes is the lead trainer at St. Louis Youth Performance and also a full time 1:1 trainer with DFM. Wes will work with athletes on the development of core and extremity strength as well as general athletic skill development through metabolic conditioning.

Our Focus

Our focus is the development of young athletes. With each session, your athlete will learn more about proper movement, utilizing their strengths and how to build their weaknesses into strengths. Though we accept athletes from third through seniors in high school, all work is designed to be performed in an age appropriate way. For example, while high schoolers and some middle schoolers will be doing pull-ups and hand stand push-ups, younger athletes will be doing ring rows and floor push-ups. The point is, every athlete will be challenged, but also leave feeling successful.

If you sign your athletes up for this training, you should see them leaving each day fatigued, but feeling extremely good about themselves due to the level of effort we expected and they produced.

The cost of the program is as follows:

Morning or Afternoon session: $75/week

Morning and Afternoon Session: $125/week

If you have 2 or more athletes in your family, we will provide a 10% discount on each account.
